Tyrepower Currumbin is looking for an experienced and motivated 2IC / Sales Assistant to work alongside our Store Manager and help lead our busy, customer-focused workshop.

About the RoleWorking closely with the Store Manager, you’ll help oversee the daily flow of the workshop while delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance.You’ll be the link between customers and the workshop team, ensuring jobs are managed efficiently, customers are kept informed and the store operates smoothly.Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Providing outstanding customer service face-to-face, over the phone and via email
  • Preparing quotes, processing sales and handling payments
  • Managing bookings and coordinating workflow with the workshop team
  • Communicating customer needs clearly to technicians
  • Maintaining accurate sales, stock and booking records
  • Assisting with tyre fitting and workshop support when required
  • Supporting the Store Manager with day-to-day operations
What We’re Looking ForEssential:
  • Previous experience in the automotive and tyre industry
  • Strong customer service and sales experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Current manual driver’s licence
  • Availability to work Saturdays (on rotation)
  • Good computer skills
Highly Regarded:
  • Experience using Costar or similar workshop management systems
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Tyre fitter or Mechanical qualifications
