ShawX Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our team in Cleveland. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing procurement across both our innovative EjectX truck body builds and workshop operations. You’ll handle supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and lead times, manage stock levels, and work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure continuity and efficiency. It’s a practical, hands-on role where your contribution directly supports the smooth running of the business.

YOU'LL NEED

You’ll bring proven experience in purchasing, ideally within the manufacturing, transport, or trucking sectors. You’re organised, dependable, and able to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to stock, supply, and communication. Experience with inventory control, purchasing systems, and strong Excel skills are essential. Familiarity with platforms like WorkGuru is a bonus. We’re also big on team fit.
